I just feel like I am supposed to be this innocent, doe-eyed craft maven and I’m not. Like my room is supposed to be half homemade pastel shit and half vintage. I don’t own a Holga, I don’t crochet, I sure as hell have never been bathed in soft yellow/flattering lighting that magically makes me photogenic, I don’t make my own clothes, or go on dates wearing red lipstick that matches my cool undertones where some perfect man walks me through a park were white Christmas lights are all strung up everywhere and he sweeps me off my feet and makes some grand romantic gesture. I’m like, buy me some pizza and I’m down for whatever. Like, who has the time to be fucking whimsical?
